Now it's off to the formal dining room to turn the light on there.
Mission accomplished. Now it's off to another part of the house to turn on even more lights. You can just see the wheels turning in his head as he's doing this. He's learning how to turn lights on and off, which is an important cause and effect skill. He's also learning to use a step stool to reach high places. He's been using a step stool for a long time, but he's just now realizing that he can carry it around wherever he wants. Before, if no step stool was present, the item was out of reach and he would either ask (or yell) for me to get it, or he would give up and move on. I don't think he's quite figured out how to use the stool to get things on the kitchen counter or get into the bathroom drawers, but it won't be long 'till he does.

Love it! He's a guy after my own heart, I just can never get the house light enough... and yes, the voice of my father echos in my head turn off the light when you leave the room! WHY on earth is every light in the house on?!
That's so cute! My youngest has figured out how to use the stool to get what she wants too! LOL
